About Me

I am looking into German prefix and particle verbs from a diachronic perspective. As a researcher in the Research Training Group “Dimensions of Constructional Space”, the plan is to work with diachronic corpus data and describe examples of German prefix and particle verbs across time as constructions. The research goal is to investigate the historical development of aforementioned verbs (project 8).

Ich beschäftige mich im Rahmen des Graduiertenkollegs “Dimensions of Constructional Space” mit Präfix- und Partikelverben, einem Phänomen der verbalen Wortbildung. Speziell gilt das Interesse Wortbildungen mit den Partikeln durch-, hinter-, um-, über-, unter- und wider-. Ziel des Projekts ist es, anhand von historischen Korpusdaten diese als Konstruktionen zu beschreiben und ihren Entwicklungsverlauf darzustellen (Projekt 8).
